BALLYGUNGE EKUSH PALLY SARBOJANIN DURGOTSAB SAMITY completed its 77th years of Durga Puja. Durga Puja is no longer just a religious resemblance, it also has signifying socio, economic and cultural ambition.
BALLYGUNGE EKUSH PALLY SARBOJANIN DURGOTSAB SAMITY, started its journey in 1947 the year of Independence. A group of eminent citizens- Jamini Roy (Indian Painter – Padma Bhusan Winner 1954), Atul Basu (Bangladeshi Oil Colour Eminent Painter), Dr. R. Ahmed (Dental Surgeon & donor of 1st Dental College of India) and many other came together to celebrate Durga Puja at 21 Pally Ballygunge Phari.
BALLYGUNGE EKUSH PALLY SARBOJANIN DURGOTSAB SAMITY., senses its commitment to society by empowering people and expressing its concern for community. The social responsibility towards society demonstrates the human face of the organization.
